Afsharr Soumak Persiann flat weave rug, approximately 6'6" x 3'10", Circa 1930. This rug has a terracotta field with hooked gul medallion, enclosed by repeating borders. A hand-woven rug with fringes to both ends, one braided. Wool construction.
An attractive old rug, in good condition, full of charm and ready for use.
