Our work ranges from minor structural repairs and traditional cleaning and polishing, through to reupholstery carried out using period-correct techniques.All restoration is approached with an understanding of age, construction and patina, with the aim of preserving the integrity and character of each piece. We have the time-served skills and experience required to restore antique furniture sympathetically and correctly.Any work we take on is completed to a consistently high standard. Material

A golden oak desk in the Art and Crafts taste dating from 1920's or 30's. Solid oak throughout with attractive figuring. Oblong shaped plain top. Two banks of four drawers flanking a kneehole under a single drawers. All drawers with original brass drop handles.

Ideal as dressing table also. Handmade in a workshop in keeping with the Arts and Crafts movement philosophy. A charming original desk, in very good condition and ready for use.

Dimensions:

This desk measures approximately 76.75 cm (30.25") tall, 113.5 cm (44.75") wide, 60.5 cm (23.75") deep, and the kneehole clearance is 56 cm (22") tall by 44.5 cm (15.5") wide.

Condition:

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This desk is in very good condition, commensurate with its age, and is structurally very sound and sturdy. All original, including locks, escutcheons and handles. Circle in desk top, likely to fill a knot, and as part of the desks construction. No obvious signs or damage or repair. Cleaned and waxed polished. Ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
