A set of 6 Regency period, mahogany dining chairs, circa 1820. This set features attractively figured timbers with curved top rails, over a single plain slat. Drop-in upholstered seats, covered in a quality woven Regency stripe fabric in green, beige and cream. Raised on ring turned front legs, with curved rear legs.
A quality set of attractive dining chairs, in a very good condition, recently and sympathetically re-upholstered. Very well presented and ready for use.
MeasurementsThese chairs measure approximately 85.5 cm (33.75") tall, 45.5 cm (18") wide, and 51 cm (20") deep. The seat height is approximately 48 cm (19").

ConditionPlease see the pictures for details of the items condition. - These chairs are in a very good condition commensurate with their age, and are structurally very sound and sturdy. There are some minor marks, blemishes and signs of age related wear on the frames. No loose joints. One sympathetic repair to one upright on one chair. Recently and sympathetically re-upholstered. These chairs have been through the workshop and have been carefully serviced, sensitively cleaned and waxed and are now very much ready to be used. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
