A Turkish Thrace kilim flat weave carpet, approximately 8'7" x 5', dating from the mid to late c.20th. This kilim has a salmon pink field of meandering vines, enclosed by green olive borders of vines and palmettes. A hand-woven kilim with long fringes to both ends. Wool construction.
An attractive kilim, the top is in good condition though underside is soiled. Ready for use.

ConditionPlease see the pictures for details of the items condition. This rug is in a reasonable condition, commensurate with its age. The top side is quite clean, though the reverse is quite soiled. Kilims are flat woven and both sides should be identical. The fringes are a little worn and have little soiling. One corner has a little fraying. Vacuumed, deodorised, and treated for moth prevention. Clean and ready for use.
As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
