Vintage, 1955 Evertaut of Birmingham, machinist or operator swivel and height adjustable chair with foot rest. Constructed in tubular steel, with adjustable back pad, swivel seat which rotates up and and down in height, with aluminium circular foot rest. Brass Er II brass plaque. Both adjusting knobs Evertaut branded.
In totally original condition, untouched and still working.

52 cmThis chair measures approximately 87 cm (34.25") tall minimum and 101 cm (39.75") tall maximum, 52 cm (20.5") in diameter across the foot rest. The seat height is approximately 55 cm (21.75") minimum and 69.5 cm (27.375") maximum. The foot rest sits at a height of 20.25 cm (8") off the floor. The seat width is 41.5 cm (16.375") and 34 cm (13.75") deep.

ConditionPlease see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This chair is in original condition. There is some surface rust on the steel parts of the frame. Very solid. The upholstery is torn and marked. The rotating seat is working. The adjustable and tilting back mechanism is ceased, though should be able to be freed. Wonderful patina throughout. Could be used. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
